Who we are

What we collect, and when

Most of what we hold is what you hand us. There are three ways that happens.

• You make an enquiry. Through the form on this website, on WhatsApp, or through an enquiry form inside Facebook or Instagram, you give us your name, your telephone number, your email address and whatever you choose to write about what you are looking for. We also record which advertisement or link brought you to the site, so that we know which ones are working.
• You call, message or email us. We keep a note of the conversation so that whoever speaks to you next already knows what was discussed.
• You visit this website. The Meta pixel records how the site was used. That one is not handed over by you, and it is set out under Cookies and measurement below.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, financial information, identity document numbers, or anything about your health. Please do not send them.

What we use it for

One thing, mainly: to answer you. That means ringing, messaging or emailing you back about the property you enquired about — so yes, making an enquiry means we will telephone you — sending you the brochure or further details if you want them, and arranging a site visit.

We also use enquiry records in the ordinary running of the business — keeping track of who we have spoken to, and understanding which of our advertisements people respond to, so that we do not waste money on the ones nobody reads.

We will not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not sell or rent your details to anybody. If you tell us you are not interested, that is the end of it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone to use for their own purposes. Beyond Trans Residency Pvt. Ltd., they are handled by the services we use to run the business, and you should know which:

• Meta Platforms — Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. If you used an enquiry form inside Facebook or Instagram, that form is theirs, so a copy of your answers sits with them as well as with us. And if you enquire through this website or press the WhatsApp button, your enquiry is sent to us as a WhatsApp message — so it passes through WhatsApp, and your number and WhatsApp profile are visible to us there. Meta's own privacy policy applies to those copies alongside this one, and you can change what their advertising does with you in their ad preferences.
• Google — an enquiry sent from this website is written into a Google spreadsheet and emailed to us through Google's services, which is how we make sure no enquiry is lost. Google stores it on our instructions, and Google's own terms apply to that storage.
• Our website host and telephone provider, who carry the information on our behalf in the course of the site and the phone working at all.
• Our professional advisers, or a public authority, where we are obliged to disclose something by law.

Meta and Google hold this information on computers outside India.

Cookies and measurement

This website loads one measurement tool: the Meta pixel. We do not use Google Analytics. If we add another tool we will name it here first.

The pixel records which pages were opened and whether an enquiry was sent, along with which option you chose under “Interested in”, and it sets cookies in your browser. We use it for two things, and the second is the one worth being plain about: to see which advertisements are worth paying for, and to show our advertisement again on Facebook or Instagram to people who looked at the building and did not enquire.

You can refuse or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and some browsers — Firefox, Safari and Brave among them — block advertising trackers by default. Nothing on this site stops working if you block them.

How long we keep it

An enquiry is kept while there is a live conversation, and for a while afterwards — property decisions are slow, and someone who looked this year often comes back the next. We go through our enquiry records each year and delete the ones that have gone nowhere. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask us, at any time and at no cost, to:

• tell you what we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop contacting you;
• withdraw your consent, so that we stop using your details altogether; or
• deal instead with someone you nominate to exercise these rights for you.

Email or ring us on the details below. We will deal with it as quickly as we can, and within ninety days at the outside. These are also the rights the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you, and we will honour them under that Act as its provisions come into force.

Keeping it safe

Access is limited to the people who need it. We should be straight with you, though: no business can promise that information sent over the internet is perfectly secure, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Children

This is a commercial property. Nothing here is directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details.

Changes to this page

If this policy changes we will update it here and change the date at the top. The date above tells you which version you are reading.

Getting in touch

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, write to us at the address above and ask for it to be looked at again. Once India's Data Protection Board begins hearing complaints, you will also be able to take the matter to them.
